Microsoft Outlook Integration Overview
Cloud Voice supports users to integrate their Cloud Voice App Desktop Client with Outlook for Windows, so as to make phone calls to Outlook contacts right from Outlook through Cloud Voice App Desktop Client.
Requirements
- Microsoft Outlook
-
- Client: Outlook for Windows
- Version: Outlook 2016 or later
- Operating System: Windows 10, Windows 11
- Cloud Voice App Desktop Client
-
- Version: Cloud Voice App Windows Desktop

- PBX server
- Firmware: Version 84.10.0.30 or later
Key features
The integration of Cloud Voice and Microsoft Outlook provides the
following key features:
- Make calls in Outlook
- Users can launch calls to their Outlook contacts directly from Outlook through Cloud Voice App Desktop Client.
- Call Popup
- Automatically bring up the contact's profile on Outlook when users
receive an inbound call from an Outlook contact through Cloud Voice App Desktop
Client. Note: You need to synchronize users' Outlook contacts to PBX and their Cloud Voice App clients. Otherwise, Cloud Voice App Desktop client will ONLY display the phone number, without the contact's name when receiving calls from Outlook contacts.
- Call Journal
- All the call activities get logged automatically to Outlook when users end calls with Outlook contacts through Cloud Voice App Desktop Client.
- Automatic Contact Creation
- Automatically pop up the contact creation page on Outlook when users receive or make calls with an unknown number that doesn't match an Outlook contact.
